Overview
Burnex Hydrogel Burn Dressing 10x10cm is a sterile, hydrogel-impregnated foam dressing designed for the first-aid treatment of minor burns, scalds and sunburn. The dressing provides a cooling and soothing effect while helping relieve pain and protect the affected area from contamination. The dressing consists of approximately 3 mm thick open-cell foam impregnated with a moisture-donating hydrogel. The gel contains more than 90% water, allowing it to transfer moisture and cooling to the affected area. The 10 x 10 cm dressing is non-adherent and water-soluble, helping it sit comfortably over the burn without readily sticking to the injured skin.

Directions for Use
Use Burnex Hydrogel Burn Dressing according to the first-aid instructions supplied with the product. The dressing is intended to be placed over the affected area to provide cooling, soothing and temporary protection following a minor burn, scald or sunburn. Some product information specifies its use as a first-aid burn treatment for up to approximately 2 hours.
Always follow appropriate burn first aid and the directions on the package. More serious, extensive, deep, chemical or electrical burns require prompt professional medical assessment rather than relying on a hydrogel dressing alone.
